Well, its that time of year again where some probably wished that summer was just a bit longer, and others may be ecstatic that we are one season closer to the Holidays. Although good things do come to an end eventually, there is some consolation in at least getting some time to transition; at least from fall to winter 🙂 Can you imagine only having the option to abruptly go from hot to cold, sunshine to snow or even night to day (without a gradual sunrise)?
No matter how long or short the time frame may be, transitioning does have a unique and interesting purpose in effecting change.
I honestly believe that entering into an interim season is that “grace period” that gives us time to prepare for something different. Whether good, bad, uncomfortable or pleasant, the good news is that we all have an opportunity to think about or next steps.
So while reminiscing about sunny warm tropical vacations, lakeside picnics and barbeques, refreshing cool lemonade on a hot summer day, or explorations of nature in the great outdoors….begin to think about the new and different ventures you are now about to experience. Start to embrace and even reconcile your goals with your reality and create new memories!
